Today seems like a perfect opportunity to re-live Melissa + Jay’s big day last year at Shawn & Ed Brewing Co.! As we’re all longing to be out and about (and maybe even at our favourite brewery with friends) this is sure to help hold you over until that day finally arrives!

We spent this amazing day hanging out in downtown Dundas, before watching these two make it official in a perfectly laid back ceremony with all their favourite people standing by. The backdrop of the brewery, the delicious food, and the feel-good vibe were exactly what Melissa + Jay wanted, and their approach to every aspect of the day seemed just right.

So grab your favourite craft beer, and take a little scroll through this day filled with laughs! (We even got photobombed by a few passing pups, so if that isn’t convincing enough, I’m not sure what is.)

“We met with Lauren in October for our June 2019 wedding and from our first meeting we loved her. She understood my vision instantly and managed to capture that throughout. Leading up to the day she was quick to respond to any questions we had. Anytime we were unsure, she gave suggestions or took the lead on how it should work. She worked closely with our coordinator which took a lot of stress off of me. She had a great online system to use that was simple and efficient. We chose not to do engagement photos and I was a little worried we wouldn't be comfortable with her on the actual day, but even getting to know her through emails she was a warm and inviting personality so by the day of I felt like we were friends. She makes being in front of the camera so easy, even for a couple of people who are kind of awkward. We have our pictures back and I couldn't be happier - they're perfect, her pictures are so clear and crisp and she caught so many moments both planned and candid. I can't wait to have an occasion to book her again!”
