Answer: Right now.

It’s just that simple. As you all can relate, life comes and goes at a wild pace and carving out time to document what this chapter looks like for you and your family isn’t always at the top of your priority list! Before you know it, another year has past and your kids are another year older. It happens (all the time).

I remember Duncan gifting this session to his wife Jenn, and in the planning process we chatted about how their youngest was already turning 1 and it was time to refresh their portraits. The vision all came together when they knew they were moving out of their amazing home and onto the next chapter in a new one. Enter: the At Home Session. A truly perfect opportunity to hang out and create some memories in one of your favourite places that you can bring with you. Not only are you and your family completely comfortable in this environment, but it’s the added bonus of all the other memories that have taken place there also visible in your images.

We played, we laughed, and we were able to capture a little piece of this crew’s story - exactly how it looked at the time. Years down the road they’ll all be able to look back at these images and feel a little piece of home, showing the boys the first place they lived.
